Use peer-reviewed original research when available. Distinguish association from causation, provider perspectives from population facts, and samples from whole populations.
Use the creator's own public website for statements about their own products or public project. Do not infer motive from the existence of monetization.
Lines like “engagement-wing” are commentary, not research findings. The site intentionally labels or separates empirical claims from satire.
Political anger is not a diagnosis. People can be angry for legitimate reasons. Media-literacy cues are prompts to verify, not proof that a claim is false.
Monetization is not proof of dishonesty. A creator selling merchandise demonstrates a commercial relationship to audience attention; it does not establish that any particular claim is knowingly false.
Men are not a monolith. Findings from men's-health samples are not claims about every man. Social-media and existential-isolation studies cited here are observational/cross-sectional where noted.
Values work is not political persuasion. The toward/away exercise asks whether your behaviour fits your own freely chosen qualities. No value or political position is scored as correct.
This site does not adjudicate teacher conduct. Questions about professional discipline belong to Alberta's regulated process.

The “toward / away” framing on this site is adapted from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), where values are ongoing qualities of action rather than completed goals. The site uses the idea as a brief reflective prompt, not as treatment. A resource in the project's research library describes values clarification and committed action as ways of reconnecting with purpose, meaning and identity, while ACT's Choice Point distinguishes workable “toward” moves from responses that pull a person away from the life and relationships they want.
This section intentionally avoids reproducing copyrighted worksheets. It adapts the general concept in original language.
Found something wrong, outdated or overstated? The project should be easier to correct than the content it criticizes. Before public launch, add a dedicated corrections contact address here (for example, corrections@reporteachers.ca) once email forwarding is configured.
