GET OFF THE FEED. GET SOMETHING USEFUL.

Real support for real life.

You do not need to agree with this website's politics — because this page does not have any. These are places to go when anger, isolation, relationship stress, depression, substance use, anxiety or suicidal thoughts are becoming the bigger issue.

NOT READY TO CALL ANYONE?

Do one thing that increases your options.

01

Tell one actual person

Not your followers. Someone who knows your name and would notice if you disappeared.

02

Change the channel physically

Walk, shower, lift, eat, sleep, drive somewhere safe, sit outside. Interrupt the loop long enough to choose again.

03

Name what is underneath

Angry — and what else? Hurt? Scared? Humiliated? Lonely? Grieving? Powerless? Naming is not weakness; it gives you a larger control panel.

04

Pick a value, then one move

What would “dependable,” “courageous,” “fair,” “connected” or “protective” look like for ten minutes?

05

Make tomorrow easier

Book the appointment. Save the number. Delete the app for a night. Ask someone to check in. Reduce access to anything you could use to hurt yourself if safety is becoming a concern.

These are general coping prompts, not a substitute for individualized care or a safety plan. If suicide is on the table, use 9-8-8 or emergency services rather than trying to white-knuckle it alone.

Why this page belongs on a media-literacy site

Because sometimes the most important fact-check is noticing that you opened a political feed looking for certainty, connection or relief — and it is giving you more anger instead.

You are allowed to care about politics and care what politics is doing to your life.
